Journey to Batuu just forgets about guiding players, which can be fun for certain kinds of video games. One of the main hurdles is that nothing is labeled. This makes gameplay extremely boring and disconnected both from the whimsical tasks of The Sims 4 and the fast-paced adventures of Star Wars.
Gameplay structure and pacing demand that you spend a lot of time in one area of the map trying to get a single task done. They can’t even go to a different area of the map and still have amenities accessible. Sims cannot live in Batuu, unless the player downloads an unofficial mod.
General Gameplay Mitaka, Kaydel and Rose meet for their Black Spire adventureĪs an avid fan of both Star Wars and The Sims, I have no idea what is going on with gameplay here. The main issue being that sims can’t do much outside of the faction gameplay. The first part covered the atmosphere and build mode, and here we go over gameplay, story, and create-a-sim. You may place it in any town that you wish, and the lot comes with a custom menu that includes many meals from the Star Wars pack as well.This is the second part of an in-depth review of The Sims 4 expansion pack Star Wars: Journey to Batuu. I built it in the town of Strangerville because that is where my alien Sims first arrive to Earth to live among the human Sims. The building is made entirely in architecture referenced from the Star Wars pack. A good place for alien Sims and human Sims to mingle and meet under one roof! The restaurant also includes a bar in the entry way for customers who simply want a light meal or drink for the evening.
Everyone can enjoy the various foods from other worlds here with friends and family. Human Sims are allowed to eat here! The restaurant won’t turn away customers, no matter what species you are. The Taste of Batuu Cantina was made primarily for my alien Sims to have a place to enjoy cuisine from a galaxy far, far away while living on Earth among other Sims. I wasn’t planning on uploading it, but I figured a few other Simmers out there may appreciate this.
