* No experience or prizes will be rewarded for races in this category. * When registering without a full party, remaining party slots will be filled by NPCs. Attributes of all other chocobos will be synced to the lowest-rated chocobo. The race class will be determined by the lowest-rated chocobo in the party.
A new category of races, Chocobo Races (Party Member), has been added. * The chocobo race tutorial has a 15 minute time limit. Please note, however, the chocobo race tutorial and challenge races can only be undertaken by speaking with the race chocobo registrar. In accordance with these changes, speaking with the race chocobo registrar in Chocobo Square (X:6.1 Y:4.7) will now open the Duty Finder. * Abandoning the duty, selecting Withdraw, or allowing the timer to run out will count toward the cooldown penalty for the Duty Finder. When registering as a party, players will be assigned based on the lowest-rated chocobo in the party. When registering for a race alone, players will be assigned to a race class based on their chocobo's rating. However, we plan to restore this functionality in a future update. * Following this change, players will be unable to use party chat during a chocobo race. Players can now register for chocobo races via the Duty Finder, matching with any players within the same data center. The amount of Namazu koban currently held is displayed in the Currency window. Players can earn Namazu koban by completing Namazu beast tribe daily quests. An additional vendor will appear at the beast tribe settlement upon completing the beast tribe quest "One Size Fits All." Beast Tribe Currency * Bait required to complete quests as a fisher can be purchased from vendors at the Azim Steppe. 
Furthermore, these materials will not be listed in the Gathering Log, but will appear in the Duty List. Materials requested when playing as a gatherer can only be collected while undertaking each quest. * Players will, however, be required to provide their own catalysts. The required recipes can be found under the Special Recipes tab of the Crafting Log. When undertaking Namazu daily quests, the objective will change depending on your current crafting or gathering class.Īll necessary materials will be provided to crafters with every quest.
